Rebecca & Tim got married at Thievery Studio (a photography studio) on Krd. They had a gallery-style friday night wedding after working day hours for guests! Tick.
Earlier in the day I watched Rebecca create her own bouquet of flowers as Rebecca’s family tradition was to buy fresh flowers on Fridays. She remembered her grandmother doing that when she was a child…the sweetest little ritual…& I guess I’m a sucker for flowers!
I also got to photograph their sweet little dapper boy all day (as well as their dapper doggy)
Rebecca & Tim both have such individual style & brought that to their Wedding. It was truly them. Rebecca looked like an even more gorgeous Betty Boop with her red lips, black hair, velvet shoes & dress.
Such a pleasure to hang out with this relaxed couple & their beautiful little family. xx

On one of our first dates we went to a huge light-up Christmas tree they used to have in a park each year, but this year it wasn’t put up, so Tim had found this one instead. He got down on one knee under the tree of lights…
“My mother hand stitched my amazing full-length mantilla veil. She and I shopped for the materials, and she spent hours sewing it and adding the small beads and white sequins. My grandmother, her mother, also wore a mantilla veil on her wedding day, so it was a lovely way to honor and bring her memory into the day. I wore a small opal necklace I already had and borrowed a ruby and gold bracelet and earrings that belonged to Tim’s grandmother…..
